Amen. Too many times I run around saying how busy I am, when in reality I'm just being active, not achieving anything real or tangible. That is why I have created a long term to do list and then I have day to day to do lists. This keeps me focused on the bigger picture, while making small, yet achievable, steps to those goals. I like to start each morning creating/going over my daily to do list, and end each day creating one for the following day. Putting what needs to get done on paper makes me less busy and more focused.
